IK Subsea secured a contract from a major international oil company to address pinhole leaks in a water injection riser. The proposed solution involved the installation of Compact Sealing Clamps at the identified breach locations to effectively seal off the leaks.

Within a rapid 12-week timeframe, the necessary hardware and associated tooling were manufactured at our facilities in Stavanger. The offshore campaign, carried out in early 2023, benefited from on-site support by IK Subsea technicians, ensuring the entire installation process progressed ahead of the anticipated schedule.

Following the installation, the riser successfully passed the pressure test, enabling an increase in water injection into the formation and subsequent enhancements in production.
